  • Matcha is a finely ground powder made from shade grown and hand picked green tea leaves. Unlike regular green tea where you steep and discard the leaves, with matcha you consume the entire leaf, providing more antioxidants, caffeine, and nutrients.

  • Store your matcha in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 6-12 months for optimal flavor and color. Always use a dry spoon when scooping to prevent moisture contamination.

  • One serving of matcha (1 teaspoon) contains approximately 70mg of caffeine, compared to 95mg in a cup of coffee. However, matcha provides a sustained energy release due to L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes calm alertness without the jitters or crash often associated with coffee.
