Named after my mother and co-founder, Aysha, the brand is a tribute to her resilience and unwavering commitment to living with intention. In recent years, our mother faced significant health challenges. During that time, she often sought solace in Malibu, a place she described as her sanctuary. Malibu’s ocean breeze, golden sunsets, and unspoiled beauty were healing for her. Inspired by her journey, we created a product that embodies that same sense of peace, health, and mindfulness.

“Ceremonial Grade” was created as a marketing tool for international markets. In Japan, there is no official grading system that includes this term. Instead, matcha is categorized based on its harvest time and intended use.

We ensure our matcha is of the finest quality rather than relying on vague labels. It is made from the youngest, most tender leaves and stone ground to perfection for a smooth, vibrant, and rich flavor.
